Travel: Black Forest, Germany 2016

Next up on my Europe trip in May after Munich was exploring the Black Forest at the bottom of Germany for two and a half days. I’d read that Freiburg (a city in Baden-Württemberg) was the one of the best bases for exploring the Black Forest, so I booked an Air BnB there and booked two full day self guided tours through Black Forest Tours (which I’d highly recommend!). PAX Aus 2015

Last weekend I photographed PAX Australia for the second year in a row at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for The Iris. Here’s some of my favourite shots of some of the attendees – there was even a little dog at the show! All images were shot on my Nikon D800, and you can view more over on my Flickr. Soundwave Festival Sydney 2015

41 bands, 5 stages, 2 days, 1 storm and 1 exhausted (but happy) photographer pretty much sums up Soundwave Festival Sydney 2015 for me. A few months back I posted a blog with my favourite shots from Soundwave Festival Melbourne, now it’s Sydney’s turn. No Doubt Summer Tour 2009 – California

Where do I start? No Doubt have been my favourite band since I was 10 or 11 years old. I grew up watching their videos on Rage every weekend, collecting clippings from TV Hits magazines, and like every other fan – just really wanting to be Gwen Stefani. In October 2000, No Doubt toured Australia and my parents bought me a ticket to go and see them at Festival Hall in Melbourne with some friends.
